What a great 4th of July (celebrated on the 3rd) we had here at Zinio’s headquarters in San Francisco! Jen Choe and Nikki Baker, from the production department, made sure that this indoor picnic was one to remember.
We asked them to write about the party and this is what they told us:
Ahhhh ain’t nothin’ more American than celebrating Independence day (early) with hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, and popsicles. Of course, in true San Frantastic fashion, the Zinio fixins bar offered plenty of colorful options to dress up your dogs:
Hawaiian –grilled pineapple and red onions.
Mexican Charred Corn –charred corn, chili-lime mayo, scallions and crumbled cheese.
Frank & Beans—baked beans spiked with bacon, diced onions, mustard.
Reuben—sauerkraut, shredded swiss, and thousand island.
Banh Mi—pickled shredded carrot, cucumber, jalenpeno slices and cilantro leaves.
Normie—mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish…for those that are into this sort of thing.
Were there veggie options? You bet your BUNS (Check the freezer for a treat, Vegans. I spied a few leftover Tofutti cuties in there!)
Thank so much girls!!
